May Newsletter

Hello again!

Thank you to all my new subscribers, as well as those who've been reading my ramblings for years.

Your patience and understanding is very much appreciated!

So.... this has been a dreary, rainy Spring so far and I for one am eagerly anticipating sunny skies!

I've recently been spending a significant amount of my downtime visiting my mother, in Florida, these days so you'd think I'd be getting enough of that but I want MORE vitamin D!  LOL!

For those who read my last newsletter...

A lot has happened since then (including my father passing away) so I've been both incredibly distracted and BUSY.

Personally, when I say I am "busy" I don't only mean with work.

Business was actually quite slow for a few months yet my personal schedule was still hectic. And remains so.

Thank you very much to those who've expressed their support and sympathies via email or in person.

Although I'm not good at expressing it, your words are meaningful to me and it all truly helps.

Some of you wonder if I ever venture outside my hotel room.

The answer is yes, although sometimes it's only to work out in the hotel's gym lol.

Other times, I do touristy stuff, such as visiting this amazing candy emporium and soda shop in the Cleveland area.  :-)

Those familiar with the classic TV show M.A.S.H. may remember Klinger (and the actor who portrayed him) was from Toledo, OH and had a fondness for grape Nehi soda.

Recalling that detail, when I heard this store carried the beverage, I knew I MUST check it out!

Recently, quite a few people have asked if I'm planning to retire soon. No, I am not.

Yes, I have repeatedly said I intend to slow down a bit (which never seems to happen lol) but that is all.

IF I decide to take a long hiatus from touring, or the business altogether, I will give at least a few months' notice.

(Barring unforeseeable circumstances, of course.)

That being said, I AM planning to finally visit areas which have been waiting on me for a long time.

Chicagoland is first up with a couple days this month.

I'll also return to Kentucky and Knoxville, TN in late Summer.

Come Autumn, I will tour the Carolinas.

Which cities?  I'm still working on that so please don't be shy about requesting whichever area is most convenient for you.  :-)

Last week, I toured SW Florida for my first time.  I'll return to 2 of those cities (Sarasota & Naples) towards the end of this year and will also be in the Tampa area for a day.  Yes, I get around.  LOL.

Dates* below are NOT my complete 2022 tours.

I will be adding in more dates for the Fall and early Winter months; these are simply those which are already booked (hotels, flights, rental cars, etc) at this time.

So please don't panic!  Most of my regular destinations will have the pleasure of my company again before the year is out.

*Tour dates have been removed from the archived version.

Thank you! I truly appreciate everyone who reads my newsletter! I hope to see you soon!!  xoxoxo
