January Newsletter

Happy New Year!

Does everyone have that Groundhog Day (re: the movie) feeling or is it just me?

Because so far, nothing much feels new about this year.

I spent the first couple weeks of this year sick with Covid and pneumonia.  This was my 3rd bout of Covid.

Yes, I'm fully vaxxed.  You can be fully vaccinated and boostered yet still get sick with this.

Anyway, that's part of the reason why it's been a few months since my last newsletter; the other part is due to the uncertainty of all my travel plans.

One of my parents is very ill and in hospice.  I'm visiting them in Florida right now, helping out as best I can.  I plan to come here frequently for the forseeable future.

So, with that going on, I won't be planning my tours as far in advance as usual.

Like my last newsletter, this one is quite brief.

I don't have any personal musings or observations to expound upon this time. I'm just sharing a few newer photos, which aren't yet anywhere else, as well as the few trips I currently have planned.

For my new subscribers: most of my missives include a lot more rambling so you have that to look forward to next time lol.

Dates* below include all currently-planned tours.

I realize there aren't many here and most of them are already on my website.

However, because I need to be available to help my parents frequently and that situation could change without notice..... well, it doesn't seem wise to post dates for the entire first half of this year, which I would love to do.

Sadly, I will not be touring some of the places I'd hoped to visit this winter.

Trying new destinations isn't a good idea for me at the moment and I had issues in a couple newer cities the last time I was there so I'm skipping them for now.

I'll share more about that in my next newsletter.

Also, I'm slowing down so my hours in general will be shorter and some cities will see me less often than in the past.

Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding during all this! XOXOXO

Thank you! I truly appreciate everyone who reads my newsletter! I hope to see you soon!!  xoxoxo
