March Newsletter
Hello and a big welcome to all my new subscribers!
It's taken me far too long to write my first newsletter of the year.
One of the main reasons is because my old laptop finally died and I really haven't yet gotten the hang of my new one. But I'm trying!
So...please forgive me if this edition of my newsletter is a bit brief and contains more typos than usual. ;-)
So, what's new, you ask? Well, this past week I toured Georgia, visiting a couple new cities for me: Savannah and Augusta.
I've been to Atlanta in the past, but I believe it's been more than two years since my last visit.
All three cities very lovely destinations but I was utterly charmed by Savannah and look forward to returning sometime this Autumn.
The photo below was a restaurant where I dined, which began as an inn for seafarers in 1753.
(The interior décor is not quite that old but it is a bit dated lol)
I spend a great deal of time in hotel rooms.
In the past year, even more, as I rarely even go out to pick up dinner and have only done touristy things a handful times.
Sometimes, I bring craft projects & materials with me to occupy any downtime. I often read or watch movies, YouTube videos, and all the usual things we've all been doing at home.
Of course, I also entertain myself by taking selfies. LOL.
As I mentioned in my last newsletter, I am changing up some things in my tours this year. I've planned more time off and will visit most of my cities no more than 4 times this year.
Some of my days will end slightly earlier than usual and, with only one city which is an exception, I've eliminated Saturdays from my schedule.
Also, and I do apologize to all my friends in my hometown, I will not be available in the Chicago area this year.
My NYC trip was unfortunately cancelled due to the ongoing travel issues but I am still hopeful that I will be able to visit there later this year. I'm still considering adding in another new destination this year but I have no news on that yet.
I'd like to thank all my friends who've been so supportive and encouraging as I make changes which help me to be a better ME.
I cannot tell you how touched I am that, even though these changes mean you won't see me as frequently, you've all urged me to do what's best for me.
I feel blessed to know such wonderful people and I truly appreciate you! XOXOXO
Thank you! I truly appreciate everyone who reads my newsletter! I hope to see you soon!!
