Autumn Newsletter
Hello to all my friends and a big welcome to my new subscribers too!
The pics in this newsletter are half self-taken, half professional, but are all from my recent photo shoot.
I'll be sharing more of the pro pics on Twitter and also adding them to my website soon!
I'm going to be making some changes in 2021.
New destinations will be added while my visits to a few areas will be decreased and/or eliminated.
In February, I'll visit Atlanta for my first time in a couple years.
I plan to do my first NYC tour in March, but of course travel restrictions/requirements there could alter my dates.
I am also considering trips to Boston, Pittsburgh and the Carolinas.
Cities to be decreased? Evansville, IN, Omaha, NE and Minnesota will all be decreased in the new year.
It's not a lack of business or nice clients: it's simply the logistics.
Chicago? I've tried working it back into my regular rotation but even with a higher rate there, my net profits are still significantly lower than everywhere else.
So unfortunately it will remain a once-in-awhile occurrence.
Another change: I'll be taking more time off. I cannot go at the pace I have been any longer.
During the summer and early fall months, there were a few weeks when I was sick or hurt and thus cancelled my trips.
So, to get make-up dates scheduled sooner rather than later, I eliminated the time off I'd had planned.
I don't want to do this anymore because it has meant that, since lockdown ended, I've really only spent more than a couple days at home when I've been unwell.
Not a lot of fun, as I'm sure you'll agree.
This will mean that if & when I am forced to cancel tour dates, I likely won't make it there for another few months.
I realize this will cause disappointment and I apologize for that.
However, I have to do what's best for both my physical AND mental health; regular breaks are key for me.
My Winter & early Spring dates are not what I'd previously planned which means there are a couple differences from what was in my last newsletter.
That's mainly due to unanticipated changes to plans in my personal life. To a lesser degree, it's also because I was able to get better travel deals on other dates lol.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding for the delay in these announcements as well as all the changes. XOXOXO
